Ordinal Could Not be Located in the Dynamic Link Library

Issue

After opening Discovery Attender, a pop-up window appears and freezes the program. The verbiage includes the following text The Ordinal [some number] could not be located in the dynamic link library [path of dll].

Cause

This can be caused by a recent Windows or MS Office update resulting in the absence of certain elements.

Resolution

Install the Access redistributable found here - chose the file which matches the bitness of the Outlook / Office / Discovery Attender installed on that machine (which may be different than the Operating System bitness).

If the issue persists:

1. Try repairing the Microsoft Office install

2. Try running Windows Updates
