Gimmal Records SaaS Invitation

Issue

When Gimmal Records is hosted in the Gimmal SaaS environment, new users must be invited - this invitation is sent via e-mail and must be accepted by the recipient before they can access the Gimmal Records Manager Web. This invitation actually comes from Microsoft, not directly from Gimmal, and it may be confusing for users who do not know what to expect.

Description

The e-mail invitation includes the following information:

  • From: Microsoft Invitations on behalf of RecordLion.Net

  • Subject: <sender’s name> invited you to access applications within their organization.

  • Body:

You should only receive this invitation if you, or someone from your organization, has requested that you be added to the Gimmal Records Manager Web.

Why didn’t I get my invitation

If you were expecting to receive an invitation to the Gimmal Records SaaS environment, but have it has not arrived yet, it may be due to one or more of the following:

  • Check your Spam/Junk e-mail folder

  • Make sure you are checking the e-mail inbox for the correct account

  • The invitation may not have been sent yet

If after checking the above you still have not received the invitation, or if you believe you have received the invitation in error, please contact Gimmal Support.
