Manage Record option is missing

Issue

After the SharePoint Online Connector is deployed to a site, you may find that the Manage Record option in the Ribbon, or in documents' context menus is missing or duplicated.

Resolution

Remove and re-deploy the SharePoint Online Connector App on the site as follows:

  1. Unregister the App from the SharePoint Online site contents

  2. Delete the App from the site collection

  3. Remove the deleted App from the primary and then the secondary recycle bins

  4. Re-deploy the App as you would for a new site
