Application History and Application Log in Gimmal Physical

 Application History

The Application History feature records all configuration changes made within the system, along with details such as the user who made the change and the exact date and time.

 How to Access: Navigate to the Admin page and select the “Application History” link.

  • Filtering Options: You can filter the history by various categories, including Date/Time, Description, and User details, to easily locate specific changes.

  • Exporting Data: If needed, you can export the filtered history for offline analysis or record-keeping.

Application Log

The Application Log is designed for IT professionals and support teams to diagnose and resolve unexpected application events. It provides technical details on such events, helping to pinpoint the root cause.

  • How to Access: Like Application History, the Application Log can be accessed from the Admin page by selecting the “Application Log” link.

  • Use Case: The log is particularly useful when troubleshooting issues with Gimmal Support, as it offers a detailed view of what occurred during the event.
